The Itinerary In Brief
In late October 2011, the latest and most luxurious cruiser on the Mekong will depart on her inaugural voyage, and this is your chance to be part the Mekong’s rich history. Your journey starts in Saigon on October 28th 2011, staying at the five-star Caravelle hotel, with an exclusive cocktail party held by the exclusive GSAs and the owners of The Jahan, on the eve before her departure. The next day, drive through the Mekong Delta to My Tho to board the Jahan. From here, spend seven nights on the river meeting the locals and exploring the richness and diversity of one of the world’s great delta systems. See life as it has been for centuries along the Mekong, with the luxury of only unpacking once. Finally, arrive in Siem Reap where you finish your incredible journey with a sunset tour of the famous Angkor Wat and a night at the world-renowned Raffles Hotel.

The Jahan
Named for Shah Jahan, the passionate 14th century Persian Mogul Emperor famous for constructing the Taj Mahal, the vessel lives up to its romantic names sake. Unlike the alternatives on the river, the Jahan is a uniquely intimate 26-cabin cruiser with the largest staff to passenger ratio on the Mekong. All her Superior and Deluxe cabins are a massive 29 square metres, the largest on the river in this category, and every cabin has a private balcony. She is the first to boast a floating spa, and will pride herself on building a reputation for the highest standards of cuisine and entertainment on the river.
